License GridMusic rights SaaS.

A publishing platform for producers, artists, labels, and attorneys — split sheets, beat negotiation, sample clearance, and royalty tracking in one place. Branded as LicenseGrid.

LicenseGrid is two systems in one ecosystem: an independent marketplace where artists and producers transact directly, and a major-label layer where labels and attorneys negotiate beat deals, manage split sheets, and push paperwork through legal review. The hard part isn't any one screen — it's that five different account types (producer, artist, label, attorney, publisher) all see a different truth about the same song, and the system has to keep them in sync.

I architected the product end-to-end — role-based auth, the beat upload and price-negotiation flow on the major side, split sheet creation and e-signatures, sample clearance workflow (mandatory form on yes, routed to attorney and label), SoundExchange document generation and dispatch, and a beat marketplace with an 'Inquire' path that bridges into major-label negotiations. Stack is Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, Supabase, and Stripe Connect for payouts.

The brand is LicenseGrid — dark, glass, amber, sharp type. A product that respects the people using it and doesn't look like a tax form.
